About Us

We are FIRST® Robotics Competition Team 5459. The TIGERS from Ipswich, Massachusetts. Since our rookie year in 2015, we have belonged to New England FIRST®. Our team is made up of 20-30 high school students whose skills and contributions to the team span various departments. Students of all skill levels, gender identities, and racial/ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to join the team and experience hands-on STEM education. We are proud to be a “white-glove” team, meaning that our adult mentors are completely hands-off.
